ABOUT ABOUT

Event Description

On Friday, March 28, 2014, TEDxPhiladelphia will present a daylong multidisciplinary conference championing great ideas, bringing together engaging speakers, performers, participants and exhibitors to examine the 2014 conference theme “The New Workshop of the World.”

The conference will echo Philadelphia’s past and present as a hub for entrepreneurs, manufacturers, developers, artists, DIY enthusiasts, and a dizzying array of thinkers, makers, and doers, while serving as a platform for people dedicated to changing our corner of the world.

General admission tickets are $75. A limited number of Early Bird tickets will be available for $50 from December 16, 2013 – January 31, 2014, or until they sell out. All tickets to the day-long conference include a full day of talks and experiences, snacks and refreshments, lunch, and a post-event reception (with beer, of course). The event will be held at Temple Performing Arts Center, one of our city’s premiere venues, located at 1837 North Broad Street on Temple University’s campus.
