We are excited to announce our first TEDxPhiladelphiaSalon of 2019: We Are All Immigrants. The event will be held on February 4th at World Café Live from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.
As the issue of immigration continues to be front-facing in national politics, this is an opportunity to reflect on the people behind the stories, and the powerful journeys many of them have made to become local residents of Pennsylvania.
The salon will be featuring a talk from Shirin Karsan and screening an official TED talk on the topic. Following our talks will be a facilitated break out session to dive even deeper into the topic.
